Striker Matty Godden joined the club in July 2019 from Peterborough United for £750,000 (Rising to £1,000,000). In his debut season, Godden scored fifteen goals as the Skyblues won the League One title. In the Championship, Godden scored a further six as City stayed up. Last season he’s netted an impressive twelve goals in twenty-four matches as City secured a top half finish.
